Detailed Description

This lot consists of five original N scale freight wagons from Roco, Minitrix and Arnold that have been individually transformed into a unique Wehrmacht military transport set with winter camouflage inspired by the Second World War.

Every wagon has been completely disassembled, carefully prepared, primed and individually airbrushed by hand. Historically inspired Wehrmacht colours from the WWII period were used throughout the project, followed by individually applied winter whitewash effects. The winter camouflage patterns are custom interpretations and are not intended to reproduce any specific historical wagon or documented wartime arrangement exactly. Since every camouflage pattern was individually painted by hand, no two wagons are identical. Every wagon is a unique piece.

The set includes:

• Roco Open Goods Wagon with barrels, crates, ammunition boxes and additional military supply equipment – 55 mm

• Minitrix Covered Goods Wagon – 55 mm

• Minitrix Livestock Wagon – 55 mm

• Arnold Covered Goods Wagon with Brakeman’s Cabin – 60 mm

• Minitrix Guard Van – 50 mm

All barrels, crates, ammunition boxes and additional accessories used on the open goods wagon were produced using a high-quality 3D printer. Every part was individually cleaned, primed, hand painted and permanently installed on the wagon.

All wagons and accessories are made in N scale (1:160). The colours and winter whitewash effects are inspired by Wehrmacht equipment and railway transport from the WWII period, while the individual camouflage patterns are custom hand-painted interpretations.

All DR markings, individual wagon running number decals and Balkenkreuz decals were individually applied by hand. Each wagon carries its own individual markings and running number. After completion, every wagon and every detail was protected with a clear matte varnish to preserve the finish for many years.

The original wagons used for this project were carefully selected and were in excellent condition before the conversion. All wagons are complete and undamaged, with all buffers and couplings present.

The cargo and all accessories are permanently fixed to the wagon and are not intended to be removed.

Every wagon was individually assembled, inspected and tested on the track after completion. The complete set rolls smoothly and operates correctly behind a locomotive.

This is not a simple repaint of ready-made models. Every wagon underwent a complete hand-finishing process involving preparation, priming, painting, winter camouflage application, assembly, decal application and final protective coating.

The entire project—from the original concept, through the design and printing of the 3D parts, painting, assembly, winter camouflage, decal application and final varnishing—was carried out entirely by me.

Many hours of careful manual work were invested in creating this collection. It is not a factory-produced set but an original handcrafted project, making it a true one-of-a-kind collector's item.

Although the models have been protected with a clear matte varnish and remain fully functional, the hand-painted finish is not as durable as a factory-applied finish. Please handle all wagons and details with care.

Condition Note

Please note that the condition is listed as Near Mint solely because this project was created using original Roco, Minitrix and Arnold wagons that were not factory-new. Carefully selected wagons in excellent condition were used as the foundation for this project. All hand-finished paintwork, winter camouflage, 3D-printed components, detailing, decals and the final protective coating are entirely new and were created specifically for this unique set.
