Dial and Hands
The dial is clean and highly legible, featuring a well-preserved silver sunburst finish that catches the light beautifully. Applied gold-tone indices with black inserts remain clean, while the printed text is crisp and intact. Very minor spotting is present near the outer edge, visible primarily under magnification. The original dauphine-style hands, accented with black center stripes, show expected age-related oxidation and spotting on their gold-tone surfaces without any significant physical deformation.

Case and Crystal
The gold-plated case displays honest wear consistent with age, retaining a good overall shape despite moderate surface scratches and scuffs. There is some wear and softening on the lug edges, and the integrated smooth gold-tone bezel shows surface scratches consistent with the rest of the case. The watch is fitted with its original \'KS\' signed crown, which exhibits some wear to the gold plating on its knurled edges. Protecting the dial is a domed acrylic crystal, remaining clear with some light surface scratches and minor scuffing along the outer edge. The stainless steel caseback features clear engravings, the distinctive gold-tone KS medallion, and a personalized Japanese engraving along its edge.

Movement
Powering this timepiece is the automatic caliber 5625, featuring 25 jewels, hacking seconds, and a quickset date function. The timegrapher records a rate of +6+9s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a serviceable black leather strap featuring a crocodile pattern. The strap shows moderate creasing and wear from use and is secured with a generic buckle.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The gold-plated case and integrated bezel display moderate surface scratches and some softening along the lug edges, yet the watch retains a very pleasing overall shape. The silver sunburst dial is excellently preserved, featuring crisp text and only very minor spotting near the outer edge. The original hands show expected age-related oxidation, while the domed acrylic crystal bears light surface scratches and minor scuffing. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly.
