Original WWII U.S. Army Air Forces HS-33 Aircraft Headset – HB-7 / ANB-H-1.
In good tested and working condition.
A genuine and highly collectible WWII-era U.S. Army Air Forces HS-33 aviation headset, comprising the characteristic HB-7 leather-covered headband, ANB-H-1 receivers and the distinctive red PL-354 plug. This configuration was used by USAAF aircrews in aircraft such as bombers and transport aircraft.
The headset is particularly attractive to militaria, aviation and WWII collectors because the HB-7 / ANB-H-1 / red PL-354 combination is the classic HS-33 configuration. Contemporary technical documentation describes the HS-33 as a 600-ohm, low-impedance headset designed for aircraft radio and inter phone systems. Tested and working.
The set retains its original leather headband, leather ear cushions, metal fittings, receivers, wiring and red connector. The leather and ear cushions show genuine age and service wear, adding to its authentic vintage appearance.
