Περιγραφή:
encased in matching double-doored miniature portable shrines (zushi), these two gilded cast metal figures portray Sho Kannon and Senju Kannon resting on lotus pedestals mounted on black-lacquered bases with gold accents. The exterior doors of each shrine feature raised relief carvings of phoenixes (hōō) amidst auspicious clouds (shōun), while the inner door panels are finely engraved with karyōbinga, celestial beings from Buddhist lore depicted with human torsos and feathered wings.
The first shrine houses a standing Sho Kannon, depicted with a circular head halo (zuga), holding a lotus bud in the left hand while standing atop a lotus base. The second shrine contains a seated Senju Kannon (Thousand-Armed Kannon), depicted with hands folded in prayer (gassho) at the chest and multiple arms radiating outward holding sacred attributes, including a trident. Both figures and their enclosing shrines are cast in metal with a rich gilded finish.
