The unit has been fully tested using two LR44 batteries and operates correctly. The game, control buttons, both LCD screens and sound all function as intended, allowing the game to be played without problems.
Both LCD screens display the game graphics clearly, with no conspicuous LCD bleeding observed. Please refer carefully to the photographs showing the console in operation.
The battery compartment is clean, with no signs of previous battery leakage or corrosion. The original battery cover and individual serial number remain present. The hinge and closing mechanism are also intact.
Minor scratches, marks and age-related wear may be present, consistent with an original electronic game manufactured in 1982. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
A separate new set of LR44 alkaline button batteries will be included as a complimentary accessory, subject to the postal and import regulations of the destination country. The original box and instructions are not included.

This is an original Nintendo Game & Watch Donkey Kong, model DK-52, manufactured in Japan and released in 1982.
The DK-52 is one of Nintendo’s most historically important handheld electronic games. It was the first title in the celebrated Multi Screen series, introducing the folding dual-screen format that would later influence the design of the Nintendo DS.
It is also renowned for introducing Nintendo’s cross-shaped directional pad, or D-pad. Developed under the direction of legendary Nintendo engineer Gunpei Yokoi, this control system became a defining feature of Nintendo consoles and later a worldwide standard for video-game controllers.
The game recreates the classic confrontation between Mario and Donkey Kong across two LCD screens. Its compact folding construction, distinctive orange-brown casing and early-1980s graphics make it an iconic example of Nintendo’s early industrial design.
The reverse retains the original DK-52 model markings, “Made in Japan” inscription and individual serial number, supporting its originality and collectible character.
