Chartreuse Yellow 2011 – Voiron – Spanish Market – 70 cl – 40% ABV
A very well-preserved bottle of Yellow Chartreuse from 2011, produced during the Voiron period and commercialised in Spain through Chartreuse Diffusion.
This bottle belongs to the earlier generation of Yellow Chartreuse bottled at the traditional 40% ABV, before the later transition to 43% ABV. Produced by the Carthusian Monks from their secret combination of 130 plants, flowers, bark, roots and spices, Yellow Chartreuse is renowned for its softer and more delicate character compared with Green Chartreuse.
The bottle retains its original Spanish alcohol duty stamp, an interesting feature for collectors and an additional indication of its original distribution in the Spanish market.
Condition
Excellent overall condition for its age.
The bottle remains unopened, with a high and very good liquid level. The front and back labels are very well preserved, as is the original closure. The Spanish alcohol duty stamp remains present, showing only normal signs of age.
