Model History:
The King Seiko line, produced by Seiko’s Daini factory, represented the brand’s pursuit of high precision and fine finishing during the mechanical golden age. The Calibre 5626 was one of Seiko’s most advanced automatic movements, featuring a hi-beat rate of 28,800 bph, hand-winding, hacking, and quickset day/date.
This 5626-7113 model from March 1974 showcases the refined late-era King Seiko design with its sharp stainless-steel case, sunburst dial, and signed KS crown - a perfect balance of elegance and technical excellence.

Condition:

The watch is in good vintage condition and presents attractively for its age. The silver sunburst dial is clean overall, with well-preserved applied hour markers, hands and printed details. Minor age-related marks and light discolouration are visible, mainly around the outer edge of the dial. The English/Kanji day wheel and date display are clearly legible.

The stainless steel case retains its distinctive angular shape and polished surfaces. Surface scratches, small marks and a few minor nicks are visible on the bezel, case sides and lugs, consistent with normal wear. The stainless steel case back also shows scratches and signs of use. The original KS-signed crown is present.

The crystal is new and scratch-free. The watch is fitted with a new black leather strap.

The movement has been fully serviced in August 2026 and is functioning correctly. It is supplied with a 3-month functionality guarantee.
