A beautiful natural Spinel crystal specimen from the Badakhshan mines of Afghanistan, weighing 389 grams and measuring approximately 77 × 75 × 60 mm.
The front face of the specimen is naturally covered with several purple Spinel crystals, creating an attractive crystal cluster on the matrix. The crystals show natural purple colour, good transparency, well-developed terminations and an excellent lustre, making the specimen particularly appealing for mineral collectors.
The crystals are naturally attached to the matrix and, according to the seller, are without damage, repair or restoration. The matrix has a distinctive mica-rich appearance, adding contrast to the purple Spinel crystals and giving the specimen an interesting natural formation.
