Dial and Hands
The dial is in excellent vintage condition, featuring a beautiful silver sunburst finish that remains highly attractive. Applied indices with black inserts provide excellent legibility alongside clean, crisp typography. Minor dust or debris is visible only under macro magnification, not detracting from the well-preserved sunburst character. The original stick hands also feature black inserts and display light aging, with minor oxidation and surface wear visible under close inspection.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case exhibits honest vintage wear, with straight lugs maintaining defined edges. A smooth polished bezel frames the dial, showing light surface scratches consistent with the case's age and normal use. The domed acrylic crystal displays light surface scratches visible at certain angles. A scalloped-edge crown, clearly signed with the Omega logo, retains good definition with only minor wear.

Movement
Powering this watch is the Omega Caliber 661 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels and adjusted to two positions. The movement displays Omega's signature copper-colored plating and presents a clean visual appearance, with no obvious corrosion or damage visible. Recording +20+22s/day on the timegrapher. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a classic black leather strap featuring a crocodile pattern. The strap is in good condition, showing light wear and creasing from normal use.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The stainless steel case and bezel show light surface scratches consistent with normal wear, while the original silver sunburst dial remains remarkably well-preserved. The hands show minor oxidation under magnification, and the acrylic crystal bears light surface scratches. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the Caliber 661 automatic movement is running strong and steady.

History
The Omega De Ville line officially became a standalone collection in 1967, having previously been a subset of the highly successful Seamaster family. This reference 555.003 was introduced to the international collection that same year. It is powered by the Omega Caliber 661, a mechanical automatic movement.
