Dial and Hands
The cream/off-white dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved, remaining highly legible. The applied gold-tone indices and the Omega logo are crisp, while the printed text is fully intact with no visible loss. Under magnification, very minor, barely visible dust or spotting can be observed. The gold-tone dauphine hands show visible oxidation and spotting under magnification, presenting an aged appearance with visible patina, though they have no structural damage or bending.

Case and Crystal
The gold-tone case features a smooth integrated bezel and exhibits honest vintage wear. There are moderate surface scratches and handling marks throughout, alongside some softening of the lug edges consistent with age and use. The signed Omega crown shows some wear to its knurling and plating. The stainless steel screw-in caseback features a crisp Seahorse medallion and a personalized historical engraving reading "S.V.O.C. JAPAN 1893-1961". The domed acrylic crystal is clear, with no major scratches, cracks, or crazing visible.

Movement
Powering the watch is the Omega Caliber 285, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement. The copper-colored plating is bright and well-preserved, with no visible corrosion or significant staining. The screw heads show minor handling marks. The movement bridges clearly display engravings reading "OMEGA SWISS", "SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS", "285", and the serial number "17812352". Strap
