Twilight Blooms captures a fleeting moment where flowers seem to hold their own quiet world. The vase becomes a still centre, while the blooms rise and unfold around it, creating a feeling of abundance, mystery and life continuing as daylight fades.
Layered brushwork, expressive marks and the interplay of acrylics, inks, oil pastels and golden foil give the surface a tactile, lived-in quality. The golden foil catches the light among the flowers, adding subtle warmth and preciousness, while the intuitive marks allow the blooms to feel both familiar and slightly otherworldly.
There is a sense of a garden at the edge of evening — when colours deepen, light softens, and familiar things begin to take on a little more mystery. Twilight Blooms invites the viewer to pause and linger in that quiet transition between day and night.

About the seller

Reihan Trandafir is a self-taught, UK-based contemporary artist whose work explores memory, perception, and emotional depth.
From the beginning of her practice she gradually evolved from soft, neutral compositions into layered, textured works that trace the quiet passage of time and the subtle rhythms of inner life.
Drawn to moments of calm and reflection within everyday life, her paintings create contemplative spaces where memory and emotion quietly unfold through colour, texture, and gesture.
