Aldona Wawszczyk - Silent gaze

«Silent Gaze» 2026
Ελαιογραφία σε καμβά, υπογεγραμμένη στο προσκήνιο.
Μέγεθος: 75 × 55 εκ.

Αυτή η ζωγραφιά απεικονίζει έναν κούγκαρ που emerging from the darkness, captured in a moment of quiet vigilance. The animal's piercing blue eyes become the focal point of the composition, drawing the viewer into a silent exchange of attention and presence.

Through a rich interplay of warm browns, deep shadows, and luminous highlights, the artist emphasizes both the physical strength and the subtle elegance of this elusive predator. The dark background enhances the sense of mystery, allowing the cougar to appear almost as if it is materializing from the surrounding darkness.

The work explores themes of instinct, independence, and the untamed beauty of the natural world. Balancing realism with expressive brushwork, the painting seeks to capture not only the animal's appearance but also its character, calm, watchful, and powerful.
