Dial and Hands

Case and Crystal

Excellent vintage condition. The dial and hands are exceptionally clean and well-preserved. The angular stainless steel case retains relatively sharp edges with honest wear, displaying light to moderate surface scratches on the polished flanks and bezel area. The multi-faceted crystal is clear and intact. Supported by the timegrapher reading of +30+35s/day, the movement is performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady.

Remarks
The vibrant blue gradient dial paired with the distinctive faceted crystal creates a striking visual presence on the wrist. Combined with the sharp, angular stainless steel case geometry characteristic of the Lord Matic line, this is a beautiful and highly wearable example of 1970s Seiko design.

History
The Seiko Lord Matic (LM) series was introduced in the late 1960s as a premium watch line positioned just below the top-tier King Seiko and Grand Seiko collections.
