During the era of the great cultural awakening in the Danube metropolis, the manufactory shaped an understanding of artisanal elegance characterized by a refined cosmopolitanism and the highest attention to detail. The model breathes the cultivated spirit of that epoch and translates this historical grandeur into an urban form of remarkable restraint through its delicately placed broguing.
The extraordinary standing of this pair is deeply rooted in the nature of its leather, a Shell Cordovan in the extremely rare shade of Cognac. Since this light tone, reminiscent of liquid amber, appears almost transparent, it demands an exceptionally strict selection process in which only hides of particular beauty are considered for tanning, resulting in an immense natural scarcity. Such executions have long since left regular assortments and exist today at best as barely realizable custom orders far removed from the conventional market.
