Collectible Retro "Mini-Phone" Lighter – Motorola MicroTAC Style (Shuangyang)

Description:

For sale: a promotional lighter/collectible gadget—a highly accurate miniature replica of the famous 1990s Motorola MicroTAC mobile phone.

It is a unique piece for collectors of novelty lighters, retro tech enthusiasts, or simply as a decorative item/conversation piece.

Features and Details:

Distinctive Design: Casing with an elegant finish mimicking wood grain (burl wood).

Realistic Mechanism: The plastic flip-cover is fully functional—it opens downwards to reveal a detailed printed numeric keypad.

Branding: Features the Shuangyang company logo.

Ignition System: The flame is ingeniously triggered by pressing down on the phone's "antenna," while the burner nozzle is aesthetically positioned at the top.

Dimensions: Very compact; fits perfectly in the palm of your hand (mini-scale reproduction).

TECHNICAL CONDITION (Note):
The lighter is functional and produces a spark, but it leaks gas from the refill valve at the base. It requires either cleaning/replacing the seal (O-ring) or refurbishment by a knowledgeable enthusiast skilled with gas lighters. For this reason, it is sold as a collectible, a display piece, or a restoration project.

Cosmetic condition is very good, with no cracks, as shown in the photos.
