Vintage Parker Duofold Standard fountain pen, made in Newhaven, England, dating from approximately 1953–1955.

A classic early British Aerometric Duofold, finished in an attractive burgundy/red colour with gold-coloured trim, Parker arrow clip and the characteristic decorated chevron cap band.

The pen is fitted with an original-style 14K gold Parker Duofold nib, marked with the early “N” designation, indicating manufacture at Parker’s Newhaven factory. Early Aerometric Duofold Standards with this nib marking are associated with the first years of production of this model.

The pen uses Parker’s reliable Aerometric filling system. The filler sleeve is marked Parker and “The Parker Pen Co. Ltd., London, England”.

The fountain pen has been tested and works properly.

Condition is good vintage condition with normal traces of age and use, including light surface scratches, wear and some patina to the metal fittings. No major damage is visible in the photographs.
