Dial and Hands
The dial features a striking brown sunburst center that remains vibrant, contrasting with an outer minute track chapter ring that shows significant degradation, spotting, and finish loss. The applied Rado logo, DiaStar text, and date window frame display moderate oxidation and patina. The watch is fitted with baton hands retaining aged luminous material, which exhibit visible oxidation and spotting across their metal surfaces.

Case and Crystal
The geometry of the case remains sharp and well-defined, highlighted by the highly scratch-resistant tungsten carbide top shield that is in excellent condition with minimal wear. The integrated tungsten shield is exceptionally clean and free of major marks. The stainless steel caseback and flanks show light surface scratches consistent with normal use. The watch features a signed crown bearing the Rado anchor logo, with well-defined ridges showing light wear. Above the dial sits a distinctive faceted sapphire crystal that is clear and well-preserved, with no major scratches or chips visible.

Movement

Strap

Condition
Good vintage condition. The tungsten carbide top shield and faceted sapphire crystal are exceptionally well-preserved. The stainless steel case components and original bracelet show moderate surface scratches from normal use. The dial presents a vibrant brown sunburst center, while the outer chapter ring displays significant degradation and finish loss, alongside visible oxidation on the hands and applied markers. Supported by the recorded timegrapher data, the movement is performing very strongly.
