Walz Wagoflex 6×6 Twin-Lens Reflex Camera

Serial Numbers:
310042 / 309573

Thank you very much for viewing this classic Japanese twin-lens reflex camera.

The Wagoflex is a vintage 6×6 twin-lens reflex camera sold by Walz and designed for 120 roll film. The Wagoflex name was used on early cameras in the line that later became known as the Walzflex.

Its square 6×6 format offers the distinctive composition and larger negative area associated with medium-format photography. The twin-lens reflex design provides a traditional waist-level shooting experience, making it attractive for portraits, still life, street scenes, travel, and photographers who enjoy the slower, deliberate operation of classic mechanical cameras.

The Wagoflex is an interesting Japanese medium-format TLR that combines 120 roll film, the classic 6×6 square format, and traditional twin-lens reflex operation.

Its waist-level composition and mechanical character provide a very different photographic experience from modern cameras, while its place in the early history of the Walzflex line also gives it appeal as a collectible Japanese camera.

This example shows some age-related exterior wear but remains generally clean overall. Haze is present in both the viewing system and the taking lens, and the main operating sequence has been checked.

As this is a vintage camera, please consider its age and optical condition carefully before purchasing. It is an appealing piece for collectors and photographers who enjoy the character of classic medium-format cameras.
