Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Important long vintage coat in authentic fur, made for Eichmeyer & Co. Hamburg, characterized by a sophisticated geometric pattern and an extraordinary length of about 124 cm.
A garment of great presence, expression of the European vintage fur tradition, in which the fur is not used simply as a surface, but carefully arranged to create an elaborate chevron pattern that runs along the entire silhouette.
The construction is unquestionably one of the most fascinating elements of the coat. The fur sections are oriented diagonally and converge toward the center forming a succession of broad V-shaped lines, particularly spectacular on the back. The result is an extremely harmonious composition that visually elongates the garment and demonstrates a much more elaborate workmanship than a simple vertical arrangement.
The fur presents a deep chocolate brown tone, enriched by chestnut nuances and a notable shine. Close inspection reveals a dense coat, with numerous gleaming guard hairs that react to light, creating intense reflections and remarkable color depth.
The wide collar with fur lapels continues elegantly along the coat’s front, forming an important vertical edge that further emphasizes the garment’s length.
With its approximately 122–124 cm, it is an authentic maxi coat: a proportion not common today, capable of creating an extremely elegant and dramatic silhouette once worn.
The sleeves are wide and also constructed with fur sections oriented to mirror the geometric pattern of the body.
Particularly noteworthy is the back, where the workmanship reaches maximum expression: the diagonal bands converge symmetrically along the central axis forming a long succession of V motifs from the upper part to the hem.
The interior is fully finished with a coordinated brown lining. The original label is present:
Eichmeyer & Co. – HAMBURG
which documents the garment’s origin from German furrier.
Manual measurements taken with the garment laid flat:
* Axilla–axilla: about 58–60 cm
* Total length: about 122–124 cm
To evaluate the fit correctly, it is advised to refer primarily to the actual measurements.
The coat is visually very well preserved, with fur appearing full, uniform and particularly glossy. Close-up photographs allow one to appreciate the coat’s structure and, above all, the complex geometric arrangement of the various sections.
The images constitute an integral part of the description and document accurately fur, workmanship, interior and original label.
An important vintage fur coat from a German furrier, distinguished by three particularly interesting features: the maxi length of about 124 cm, the sophisticated chevron pattern, and the provenance identified as Eichmeyer & Co., Hamburg.
A garment with exceptional presence, designed for those seeking authentic European vintage fur and elaborated workmanship rarely found in contemporary production.
