Get your hands on this serviced February 1971 Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7130 with charcoal-grey dial, bilingual day-date display, original signed steel mesh bracelet and 3-month guarantee.
Model History:
Introduced in 1968, the Lord Matic collection occupied an important position in Seiko’s upper-middle mechanical range. The series combined refined case designs and slim profiles with movements offering more advanced functionality than many of Seiko’s everyday automatic watches.
This example is powered by the Suwa Seikosha calibre 5606A, a slim 23-jewel movement offering automatic and manual winding, hacking seconds and a bilingual quickset day-date calendar. Its softly rounded cushion-shaped case, charcoal-grey dial and original Lord Matic mesh bracelet create a distinctly early-1970s appearance.

The hands and applied markers show light wear consistent with the watch’s age but retain an elegant overall appearance. The bilingual English/Kanji day wheel and date display are clean and clearly legible.
The stainless-steel case displays scratches, small marks and normal signs of previous wear. Its contrasting brushed upper surfaces and polished sides remain visible, while the rounded cushion-shaped profile retains its characteristic early-1970s appearance. The case back shows surface scratches and wear, with its factory engravings remaining legible.
The acrylic crystal has been polished and provides a clear view of the dial. Minor residual surface imperfections may remain visible under close inspection or in certain lighting conditions.
The original stainless-steel mesh bracelet is fitted with its signed Seiko LM clasp. It shows scratches, surface wear and normal age-related signs of use.
The calibre 5606A movement has been serviced and is functioning correctly. A 3-month guarantee is provided on functionality.
