Pair of Matching Polished Petrified Wood Slices – Up to 32 cm / 6.7 kg Total – Dipterocarpus – Java, Indonesia (Miocene)

Description:
A visually striking pair of matching polished petrified wood slices (Dipterocarpus sp.) sourced from Java, Indonesia. Dating back to the Miocene epoch (approx. 5 to 23 million years ago), this 6.7 kg set features dramatic obsidian-black centers framed by intricate white and honey-gold outer rings.

Visual & Aesthetic Highlights:
 * High-Contrast Mineral Fields: Deep, jet-black carbon replacement fills the broad interior, sharply framed by crisp white chalcedony lines and golden-ochre outer borders.
 * Intricate Opaline Core Inclusions: Both slabs display striking white, organic cloud-like quartz inclusions extending into the black fields, creating a bold artistic centerpiece.
 * Mirror-Polished Surface: Polished to a smooth high gloss across primary faces to accentuate the graphic contrast between the dark carbon and light quartz bands.
 * Symmetrical Display Pair: Measuring 32 cm in height, these two complementary slabs form a balanced, eye-catching set for luxury interiors, mineral collections, or wall/shelf staging.
