Vintage Space Age Graphic Wall Clock – Juwelier Hörl Augsburg (1970s Prototype)
A rare and distinctive handmade wall clock, originally created as a unique display piece for the prestigious German jeweller Juwelier Hörl, Augsburg.
This striking clock features an artistic, layered design combining a gold-coloured circular dial with a richly patterned brown and golden background. The wooden base is decorated with individually hand-painted metal plates, arranged at varying heights and depths to create an impressive three-dimensional effect. The contrasting dark brown and gold motifs, sculptural hour markers and clean white hands give the clock a bold, decorative character.
The combination of geometric composition, textured surfaces and warm metallic tones reflects the experimental spirit of 1970s design, with influences from Space Age and Mid-Century Modern aesthetics. Its unusual construction and handcrafted appearance make it a true eye-catcher and a distinctive collectible from the Juwelier Hörl display collection.
The clock is fitted with a new quartz movement with fresh battery.
