Vintage Summit Genève Swiss mechanical wristwatch, complete with period Summit presentation box and original dated guarantee paperwork.
A particularly attractive and collectible example thanks to the surviving documentation, which records the original purchase date as 29 December 1981.

The watch features an elegant silver sunburst dial with applied stylised Arabic numerals, luminous hour plots, central seconds and a framed date window at 3 o’clock.

Condition:
Very attractive vintage condition overall.
The dial remains clean and well preserved for its age, with light age-related marks visible under close inspection. The case and crystal show normal signs of use consistent with a vintage watch.
The black leather strap appears to be a later replacement.
No recent service history is available. As with any vintage mechanical watch, long-term accuracy, power reserve and water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
The period guarantee document shows natural ageing, folds, staining and wear consistent with its age, which add to the authenticity and character of the set.
The presentation box also shows normal age-related wear.
The photographs form an integral part of the description and show the actual watch, box and documentation being sold. Please examine all photographs carefully before bidding.
