CANON EOS 650 + EF 35-105mm F3.5-4.5, tested and working.

Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.

The Canon EOS 650 of 1987 was the very first EOS camera and the debut of Canon's all-electronic EF lens mount, the system Canon still builds on today. It brought fast autofocus and fully electronic lens control to the 35mm SLR. It is offered here with the EF 35-105mm f/3.5-4.5 standard zoom.

Functional
The camera operates properly: autofocus, shutter and metering work.
Shutter speeds measured accurately.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- 1 s — measured 1/1 s (on the mark)
- 1/60 — measured 1/64 s (approx. 0.1 stop fast)
- 1/1000 — measured 1/1130 s (approx. 0.2 stop fast)
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

Known Issues
1. Light haze inside the lens. It may reduce contrast in backlit scenes.
