Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2005 as a limited edition release. Matured in first-fill used bourbon barrels, this is a classic Glen Moray expression known for its smooth, fruity and creamy character.
Tasting Notes (from the label):
• Colour: Bright gold
• Nose: Exceptionally smooth and well-rounded with delicate spices and creamy vanilla. Rich in butterscotch, honeycomb and soft vanilla, with gentle oak. With water: lemon meringue, heather-honey, wild mint, apricots, figs and hints of cloves & cinnamon.
• Palate: Soft, smooth and creamy. Creamy vanilla, lemon, honeycomb, oak and spices, with toffee and apricots emerging.
• Finish: Medium length with lemon meringue and lingering spices.
Condition:
Bottle is full (excellent fill level), labels clean and intact. Comes with the original presentation box. Very well preserved for its age.
A nice older official bottling of Glen Moray – perfect for collectors or those who enjoy classic Speyside style.
