Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
The Stromberg Monterey Aged Trans Honey is a semi-hollow electric jazz guitar featuring a classic vintage-inspired design, Amber Spirit of 59 pickups, and a Bigsby vibrato system, providing versatile tones and a refined playing experience.
Never been played on, factory reliced as if the guitar has been played for decades.
Overview
The Monterey Aged Trans Honey is a semi-hollow guitar that merges the elegance of traditional jazz guitar aesthetics with modern playability and tonal versatility. Its single-cutaway, thin-line design offers comfort and excellent access to the higher frets, making it suitable for a wide range of styles including jazz, blues, and rock
The guitar is finished in a classic aged Trans Honey look, giving it the appearance of a well-played vintage instrument
Construction and Body
Body: Semi-hollow, featuring top, back, and sides made entirely of maple, with a solid center block to minimize unwanted feedback at higher gain settings
Top: Figured Maple / Maple laminates for enhanced resonance and tonal clarity
Neck: Hard maple, set-in construction.
Fretboard: Ebony or Rosewood, 12-inch radius, 20 medium-jumbo frets, MOP block inlays
Bindings: Vintage white multi-ply for body and neck
Dimensions: Scale length 628 mm (24.724 inches), nut width 43 mm (1.732 inches), overall length 1045 mm (41.142 inches)
Electronics and Hardware
Pickups: Two Amber Spirit of 59 Humbuckers, providing a smooth vintage tone with rapid response and strong clarity, suitable for jazz, blues, and rock
Controls: 2 volume and 2 tone knobs plus a 3-way toggle switch, allowing flexible tonal shaping
Bridge & Vibrato: Bigsby B-70 or Gotoh roller bridge system ensures stable vibrato and tuning
Hardware Color: Nickel/Gold, with Kluson Waffleback tuners and speed knobs
Strings: D’Addario ECG25 (012-052)
Playability and Sound
The Monterey delivers a warm, acoustic-like character due to its semi-hollow architecture but maintains precise electric amplification via its high-quality pickups. Its tonal profile is versatile, from clean jazz tones to bluesy overdrive, with the Bigsby vibrato adding expressive modulation options
Additional Features
Finish: Gloss black aged appearance for vintage charm
Included: Hard case
Given its boutique craftsmanship and high-quality components, it is considered a premium semi-hollow jazz guitar.
