The Ricoh XR-2 (1977) is an aperture-priority automatic 35mm SLR built around the Pentax K bayonet, which Ricoh adopted for its XR series. It offers electronically timed speeds from 4 s to 1/1000 s with manual override in a well-built body. It is offered here with the SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2, a compact multi-coated standard lens from Pentax’s own M series.

Functional
Power, light meter, automatic exposure, shutter and film transport work. Exposure is within one stop (-0.6 EV).
The light seals have been replaced.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.6 UNDER / EV15: 0.6 UNDER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

We ship via either FedEx or Japan Post (ePacket), whichever suits the destination and the parcel. With Japan Post your package is handed over to the local postal carrier in your country for final delivery.
