Είμαστε περήφανοι που presenting a highly charismatic and authentic representative ...

We are proud to present a highly charismatic and authentic representative of mid-20th-century German watchmaking: a classic Junghans 15 Jewels manual-wound wristwatch from May 1956, powered by the legendary in-house Caliber 693 E (J93/1). This timepiece is a textbook example of mid-century European dress watch design, blending a sleek minimalist aesthetic with an authentic traditional mechanical heart.

Historical Collector's Context (The Pride of Schramberg):
Founded in 1811 in Schramberg (Black Forest), Junghans grew to become the single largest clock and watch manufacturer in the world by the early 20th century. During the 1950s, Junghans cemented its legacy by producing high-grade, ultra-reliable in-house movements, completely independent of Swiss imports. The Caliber 693 family is highly respected for its robust, clean architecture and precise engineering. This specific movement bears the "E6" stamp underneath the balance wheel, historically dating its production precisely to May 1956. Owning a fully functional, authentic pre-Max Bill era Junghans with a pure manufacture caliber is a cornerstone for any serious German horology collection.

The Timeless Design & Elegant Dial Architecture:
The watch stands out immediately due to its classic, ultra-elegant dress profile and balanced layout. The cream dial is in very beautiful condition, adorned with gold-colored stylized Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 9, and 6, sharp applied indices, and minimalist alpha-style golden hands. True to mid-century high-grade dress specifications, the dial features a beautifully recessed subsidiary small-seconds register at the 6 o'clock position. The elegant gold-plated case preserves its sharp lugs and clean contours beautifully, showing only minimal signs of wear.

A Fully Functional German Mechanical Heart:
Inside this time capsule beats the traditional in-house Junghans Caliber 693 E manual-wound mechanical movement. Reflecting its pristine engineering, the movement operates in fully functional condition, winding smoothly, starting immediately, and running continuously without stalling. The accuracy remains well within historical factory parameters. The snap-on case back is proudly stamped with the historic 8-pointed Junghans star with the central "J" logo, along with "Shockproof", "Stainless Steel Back", and "Waterprotected"—complete with its original blue protective internal rubber gasket still present inside the rim.

An Authentic Period Set:
The gold-plated chassis is complemented by a premium acrylic crystal that is absolutely flawless, clean, and scratch-free. The watch is paired with a brand new, un-worn premium 17mm black leather strap with alligator texture print and a matching golden buckle, perfectly highlighting its historic, sophisticated character. This combination makes the watch an exceptional investment-grade item for historical timekeeping enthusiasts.

This piece is sold as a collectible and investment item, so for maximum use of its potential and to ensure long-term reliability, regular checks and adjustments by a watch specialist are highly recommended.
