The real gem of Sardinia Teularju is a small family-run winery located in Mamoiada, in the heart of Sardinia. A place that has always been considered as the land of choice for the red grape variety symbol of the island, the cannonau. The company, founded in 2016, boasts 8 hectares of vineyards conducted under a certified organic regime since 2019, and divided into 4 different plots, different in terms of exposure and soil composition, locally called "ghiradas". The vineyards are located at altitudes between 570 and 630 meters above sea level, with north-east exposure and soils composed of granite sands. Conditions that favor the production of reds with an innate elegance. The sapling-trained vines have their roots in the typical soil made up of granite sands. Spontaneous fermentation is carried out by the yeasts present on the skins and involves a long maceration on the skins. The wine is then left to mature for 12 months in large wooden barrels, before bottling. A great red, faithful expression of one of the most suitable areas of Sardinia.
