The powerful Tenute del Barone Toscana from De Ladoucette comes into the glass with a dense purple-red color. Swirling through the wine glass, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in the stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The bouquet of this red wine from Tuscany enchants with hints of blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant and mulberry. Exploring the aromas further, the oak adds black bread, spice of gingerbread and smoked meat.
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée Tenute del Barone Toscana from De Ladoucette are the grapes Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soil in Tuscany. The Tenute del Barone Toscana is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, because this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly emphasizes the success of Old World wines. After harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the pressing plant. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Tenute del Barone Toscana matures for another 24 months in French oak barriques.
The single bottles will be shipped to you in a protective wine packaging to avoid damage.
