For auction this MINT (some trial fitting but actually new old stock) circa 1980 Valjoux 7750 Automatic Chronograph branded Arola (Alfred Rochat & fils SA). The same model with the same reference was also available under the Royce name. Alfred Rochat & Fils was founded in 1941 by master watchmaker Alfred Rochat himself. The company, based in Switzerland, acquired the AROLA brand name later on and is known for specializing in complicated watch movements, often based on calibers like the Valjoux 7750. It still active today. About this masterpiece: Mint chromed case with a stainless steel back. It is fabulously retro and is barrel/tonneau shaped. The case is marked to the back 'Antimagnetic, stainless steel back, Swiss made, Automatic and water resistant etc' the ref is 6004 It measures 41mm across excluding the original crown and pushers. DIAL: This superb watch has the most stunningly striking and beautiful black and white colored 3 register day/date chronograph dial. The outside chapter of the dial is white and the chrono dials are black with white borders. The outside Tachy chapter is white. The dial also has two excellent white colored steel hands. The stop watch centre second hand is a gorgeous irredescent orange color. The chrono dial hands are all white and matching. The dial has white matching baton numerals. The crystal is Acryllic and is original.   MOVEMENT: Superb clean Valjoux 7750 chronograph 17 jewel movement fitted. It is in full working order and is running well. All of the pushers work as they should and the centre hand snaps back bang on to twelve. The movement winds and sets smoothly showing no undue wear. It keeps excellent time as tested over a 24 hour period. BAND: This fabulous watch is fitted with a new old stock very soft 22mm Hirsch strap which is a perfect matching band to this beautiful timepiece. The watch will be send registered and insured
