Here is a rare Glenlivet expression: distilled in 1972, matured for 26 years, and bottled in 1998 by George & J.G. Smith — part of Glenlivet’s Vintage series. This is an extremely collectible Speyside whisky, coming from the family name of the distillery founders (George Smith and his son John Gordon Smith). This is a true vintage Glenlivet, representing both a long maturation and the traditional bottling style of the late 1990s.
