Antique Jewellery Box – Napoleon III – Bronze – Early 19th Century – Marked “DEPOSE 440”
A beautifully detailed Napoleon III jewellery box from the early 19th century, crafted in bronze with refined decorative motifs. This miniature chest is richly ornamented on all sides, featuring floral decorations, column-shaped corners, and an elegant lid with crossed torches surrounded by beaded edging.
The box stands on four sculpted feet and is marked on the underside with DEPOSE and 440, indicating registered design and quality craftsmanship. The original patina has been preserved, showing age-consistent wear that enhances its authentic antique character.
The interior opens smoothly and shows the original bronze surface. A charming and decorative object for collectors of Napoleon III, French bronze works, or antique trinket boxes.

Good antique condition with wear consistent with age. Patina, oxidation on the base, and small surface marks. Please check all photos for a detailed impression.
