KIEDO KYOTO
Παρτίδες
Based in Kyoto, Japan, I specialize in traditional Japanese ceramics, tea utensils, sake ware, and selected works of Japanese decorative arts. My interest lies particularly in objects connected to the Japanese tea ceremony and the aesthetics of wabi-sabi. Many of the pieces I offer are sourced from old collections, local auctions, estate sales, and antique markets throughout Kyoto and other regions of Japan. I am especially passionate about Japanese tea bowls (chawan), including works from Shino, Raku, Karatsu, Hagi, Kutani, and other historic ceramic traditions. Whenever possible, I carefully research signatures, kiln marks, tomobako inscriptions, and historical background to provide accurate descriptions for collectors. Every item is individually inspected, photographed, and packed with great care before shipment. My goal is not only to offer interesting objects, but also to share a small part of Japanese culture and craftsmanship with collectors around the world. Thank you for visiting my auctions, and I hope you enjoy discovering these unique pieces as much as I enjoy finding them.
