Makayhos is a contemporary visual artist working between relief, mixed media, and fine art canvas. His work explores the idea of time, erosion, and permanence, transforming iconic imagery into sculptural surfaces that appear carved, fractured, and fossilized. Each artwork is conceived as a unique piece, where matter plays a central role and the image emerges from the surface rather than being placed upon it. Makayhos’ approach moves away from traditional illustration, focusing instead on texture, depth, and a sense of suspended time.
