You can auction any eligible object you bought on Catawiki again in just a few clicks. Just make sure the condition and description are still accurate.
How to resell
- Find the object you want to sell in your orders.
or - Select an object marked 'Bought on Catawiki’ on the submission page.
How do I know which objects are available for resale?
We’ll highlight objects that can be resold. You can view past purchases available for resale on the submissions page. You can also find eligible objects in your orders.
An object may not be eligible if:
- The original seller hasn’t been paid.
- A dispute is open on the object.
- It’s less than 14 days since the delivery date.
- Your purchase was more than 6 months ago.
- During the expert’s check, there’s a possibility that it’s not accepted for auction.
What should I update during submission?
- Condition – check the object’s condition is still correct.
- Description – make sure the description is still accurate.
- Images – you can only reuse the original images only if they still represent the object’s current state. If the condition has changed, or if the previous seller objects to the use of their images, you must upload new photos showing the object today.
- Shipping rates – fill in shipping rates.
Will this cost me anything?
We don’t charge any fees to add your object to an auction. If your object sells, we charge a seller success fee.
Shipping will be covered as part of the final price the buyer pays, so you recuperate the delivery cost.
When do I get paid?
Once the buyer receives the object, you’ll receive your payment. The estimated payment date will show on the order page.
Good to know
- If the condition has changed, make sure the images reflect this.
- Expert evaluation, payment collection and dispute handling follow the normal selling process.
- If the expert rejects the object, their decision is final.
