"Kiev-10" - a small-format single-lens reflex camera, produced at the Kiev factory "Arsenal" from 1965 to 1974.
The first Soviet SLR camera that supports automatic exposure control [1]. It is one of the first SLR cameras equipped with a shutter-priority automatic. However, such automation was implemented with the help of an already outdated exponometer with an external selenium photocell.
A total of about 50 thousand copies were produced.

Technical Specifications 

The case is metal with an opening rear wall. A cocking platoon of the shutter and rewinding of the film. Blocking from incomplete platoon, automatic self-resetting frame counter. Rewinding tape type roulette.
The cassette slot points toward the top of the camera, and the rewind tape is on the bottom panel. The tape measure and the rollback roller are connected by a transmission.
The type of photographic material used is film type 135 in standard cassettes. The frame size is 24 × 36 mm.
The photographic shutter is a lamellar fan type, with a balancing device. Both curtains consist of three metal lobes [2]. On Soviet cameras it was used for the first time. Shutter speeds from 1/2 to 1/1000 sec and "B".
The viewfinder is a mirror, with a fixed pentaprism. The size of the viewfinder's frame window is 22 × 34 mm [2]. Mirror of constant sight. The focusing screen is a Fresnel lens with a micro-raster circle and a frosted ring in the center.
The lens mount is an original design bayonet with a working length of 44 mm [2]. Later it was used only in the camera "Kiev-15" and allowed to install through the adapter threaded lenses from "Zenith". The M39 × 1 adapter was included with the camera.
There was no diaphragm setting ring on interchangeable lenses. The aperture value was set by a disc located on the camera body. The same disk included the automatic setting of the diaphragm.
The standard lens of the cameras of the early issues is "Helios-65 Automatic" 2/50. Since 1967 the device was completed with the lens "Helios-81 Avtomat" 2/53.
Lenses with a jumping diaphragm. Aperture lenses up to f / 16.
Synchronous "X", sync speed 1/60 sec and more. In early releases, the clip for attaching the electronic flash was not available (removable bracket was used).
There is no self-timer.
The thread of the tripod socket is 1/4 inch.

The camera is in excellent external condition. The camera is cocked, but the trigger does not fire.
