Beautifully polished and presented Ammonite - on Stainless Steel Tripod - Phylloceratidae - 230×170×125 mm
CRETACEOUS-Lower Cretaceous, Albian (100.5–113.0 million years) - Befandrine - Madagascar

Rare and perfectly preserved specimen of Ammonite Phylloceratida, characterized by a surface with crystallization of Aragonite and
very sharp and visible phylloid-type suture lines of septa.
Another characteristic of this specimen is the termination of the ventral side, which was cut following the suture lines creating a three-dimensional effect.
In order to display this Ammonite in your collection or in a corner of the house as a decorative piece, we have created a polished steel stand that, in a safe but non-invasive way, wraps the fossil and allows to observe it from any angle.
If you want to own a piece of history that is both elegant and fascinating, don’t miss this lot.
