Unique copy of William Burroughs' The Soft Machine. With a signed dedication to the famous Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn.
In Naked Lunch, William S. Burroughs revealed his genius. In The Soft Machine he begins an adventure that will take us even further into the dark recesses of his imagination, a region where nothing is sacred, nothing taboo. Continuing his ferocious verbal assault on hatred, hype, poverty, war, bureaucracy, and addiction in all its forms, Burroughs gives us a surreal space odyssey through the wounded galaxies in a book only he could create.
Anton Johannes Gerrit Corbijn van Willenswaard; born 20 May 1955, is a Dutch photographer, film director and music video director.
He has become famous for his photos of musicians and other celebrities. He also photographed Willian Burroughs in a characteristic way.
Good copy, some discoloration of the cover. The dedication is on the half title page.
