'Livingstone's services to African geography over thirty years have been almost unparalleled; it covered about a third of the continent from the Cape to the Equator and from the Atlantic ocean to the Indian Ocean. He made three major expeditions; in 1853-6 (described in this book), 1858-64 and 1865-1873, of which the first and the third are the most important.
Condition: half leather binding, marbled covers, paper lightly browned and spotted according to age. The two loose cards have been repaired with acid-free tape. The spine shows signs of wear. See photos.
