Chinese porcelain 5 clawed dragon bowl, marked – China – Ming Dynasty
On offer is a rare Chinese porcelain dragon bowl dating from the 16th-17th Century. This bowl has 2 decorated dragons with 5 claws on the outside, chasing a flaming pearl. At the inside of the bowl again a 5-clawed dragon facing front. At the back the bowl is marked with an institute mark reading: Xin yue fu zhi. An remarkable bowl in excellent condition! Very rare to find a transitional period bowl with 5-clawed dragons in this nice condition! Top piece!
Condition: Excellent! Uncleaned as found condition. Unreadable antiquarian sticker remain. No damages, no chips, no frits, no hairlines! Condition is carefully checked with UV and bright light.
Size: This bowl measures about 13cm across and stands 6,5cm in height.
