Tobia Scarpa - Flos - Table lamp - Biagio

Tobia Scarpa - Flos - Table lamp - Biagio

The Biagio table lamp was designed in 1968 by Tobia Scarpa and produced by the Italian company Flos. Due to its lines, shapes, and techniques used, it seems impossible to believe that it was produced in the 70s but the visionary genius of Tobia Scarpa really gave us this design icon that is able to surprise even today.

The Biagio table lamp is made from a single block of white statuary Carrara marble, handcrafted. The extremely particular shape of this lamp gives us two points of light that allow it to illuminate the space in which it is located in a direct and important way. The soft curves play in contrast with the solidity of the marble and seem to draw the profile of the ancient fossil shells as if we were in the presence of a spontaneous and primordial light.

The Biagio lamp by the Italian company Flos is able to arouse distant emotions and images and to make the space in which it is located extremely personal. Particularly suitable for enthusiasts always looking for new, interesting, iconic objects who cannot afford not to have a piece of history in their favorite spaces. Suitable for living rooms, sleeping areas, contract areas and even waiting areas of offices or offices themselves.
