Roman Empire - Lot comprising two antoninianus:

1. - Gordian III. AD 238-244. - Silver antoninianus (3.88 g. 23 mm.). Rome mint.
IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right /
AEQVITAS AVG, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopia.
RIC 34; RSC 17; Sear 8600. gVF.

2. - Gallienus, 253-268 A.D. - Antoninianus (Silver, 3.73 g., 21 mm.), Antioch, circa 266-268.
IMP C LIC GALLIENVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right. /
FORTVNA REDVX Mercury standing front, head to left, holding purse in his right hand and caduceus in his left.
RIC 75; C. 285; MIR 1561d. Good very fine. Rare.
