Original 1979 vinyl pressing of PIL "Metal Box", in its original metal case, released on 23rd November 1979.
Includes 3 x LP's along with the original paper dividers & the original track sheet. Also included is an NME advertising page for the album "Metal Box" dated 1st December 1979. Very rare to have a complete set with all the pieces, as most that I have seen will have some part missing. Also still has original sticker "Metal One" on bottom of the case, although showing signs of age.
The vinyls are rated as VG+ and play through very well with just a little background noise in some parts. Overall a good playing set.
The metal case is showing some signs of age, but the fact that it is over 40 years old is not unusual.
The album itself was rated No 461 on Rolling Stones magazine list of 500 greatest albums of all time.
