Obverse: Crowned coat of arms of the Spanish monarchy, with the escutcheons of Portugal and Hall-Tirol, “inaugurated by Felipe II in 1586, and flanked by the mint mark and the assayer's mark to the left, and the value to the right; surrounded by the legend: PHILIPPVS•IIII•D•G; and all within a circle of pearls.
Reverse: The characteristic four quarters of Castille y León in a lobed octagon, divided into four parts by a cross. Around, the legend: HISPANIARVM • REX • 1632 • All within a circle of pearls.
Smooth edge and roller minting.
