EMIN PASHA AND THE REBELLION AT THE EQUATOR A Story of Nine Months Experiences in the Last of the Soudan Provinces by A J Mounteney-Jephson (one of Stanley's Officers), with the revision and co-operation of Henry M Stanley.

A second edition, It was published in 1890 by Sampson, Low, Marston, Searle & Rivington. It has a b/w photograph of the author as a frontispiece with his signature at the bottom of the picture, it has a colour map of Emin Pasha's province, 45 other illustrations (21 of which are full page) and a facsimile of the Mahdi's letter which is unfortunately not present here.

Book Description:
This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth half bound in green leather with gilt lettering. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with some creased corners and foxing. Boards have been moderately rub worn with some noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed and spine ends are crushed, Book has a slight forward lean.
