3 oz silver coin Baby Lions
The Baby Lion 3 Silver Ounces is an issue from the "Africa Silver Ounces" series and was minted in Germany under license of the National Bank of the Republic of Congo. The nominal value is 2,000 Francs CFA. The motifs of the multi-part Africa silver coin series feature animals living on the African continent. The peaceful motif is deceptive - these wonderful animals are threatened by extinction!

The coins of the Africa-Silver-Ounces series are minted with a grade of 999 / 1,000 and have a diameter of approximately 55.4 mm. The edge of the coin is smooth. The mintage is limited. These attractive silver ounces are struck brilliant uncirculated and adorned with an antique finish by hand. The coins are in a protective coin capsule and will be delivered with certificate (COA).



Obverse:
The Congolese coat of arms forms the obverse. The name of the issuing country, "REPUBLIQUE DU CONGO", is above the coat of arms. The nominal value of the coin, "2000 FRANCS CFA", is indicated below.



Reverse:
On the reverse is a wonderful depiction of two baby lions. Above the motif, on the edge of the coin, the inscription reads "Baby Lions 3 Silver Ounce 2013". To the right of the lions is the logo of the Africa silver ounce series, the African continent, with the inscription "AFRICA 3 Oz Ag .999".
