This great original painting of Donald Duck inspired by French artist Jacques-Louis David and his "Napoleon Crossing the Alps" (1801), has been created by Disney artist Tony Fernandez.

Tony Fernandez has worked drawing for Disney studios around the world for over 30 years. He is one of the best Disney artists living in Europe and his work has been proven to be successful and trendsetting.

The original was created as part of the "Inspired By Collection”, mostly based on Disney characters, with some Warner Bros. and Peanuts characters completing it. An ongoing collection of more than 500 works of art inspired by beloved masterpieces by Dalí, Miró, Pollock, Degas, Miller, Warhol, Van Gogh, Hopper, Picasso, etc., music stars like Michael Jackson, David Bowie or The Beatles and iconic figures such as Muhammad Ali, which has been exhibited in several cities worldwide.
