Amazing fully restored black lacquered wooden paper-enclosed temple lantern 行灯 (andon) of the kakugata 角形-type. The easily removable square lampshade with lattice work in front and back. Connected by long columns to a square base with slightly curved sides. In front a faux-drawer.
When lit, the fine washi-paper gives a lovely warm glow.
The lattice-work sides are actually removable panels, this way you were able to light the candle! Now the lamps are equipped with a newly electrified CE-fitting. No lamp bulbs included.

The washi-paper has been completely restored, and the frame itself is in a very good condition. Please look at the photos for a condition reference.
