Antike russische Ikone "Gottesmutter Hodegitria von Smolensk"mit dem Jesusknaben aus dem 19. Jahrhundert.

Handgemalt mit Eitemperafarben auf einer Holztafel mit Kreidegrund und goldener Grundierung. Typische Methode der Ikonenherstellung im18. und 19. Jahrhundert in Zarenrussland. Das Motiv ist weit verbreitet undsehr beliebt in der orthodoxen Kirche.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Altgläubiger-Ikone. DieMalerei ist ziemlich meisterlich und detailliert ausgeführt. Perfektaufeinander abgestimmte Farbkontraste und gelungene Schattierungen. Die Malereienthält sehr authentische Krakeelen (siehe Fotos). Partielle Restaurierungen und größere Korrekturen sind vorhanden (siehe Fotos). Besonders ausdrucksstarkund auffällig sind die Gesichter der Heiligen (siehe Fotos). Die Heiligen sindbeschriftet. Die Beschriftungen sind zum Teil schwer zu lesen.

Die Ikone entstand um ca. 1850-1880 in Zentralrussland. Auf der Rückseite fehlen beide Quersponkas.Stabile und solide Holztafel. DieIkone befindet sich in einem guten Zustand mit typischen altersbedingtenGebrauchsspuren (siehe Fotos).
